Summer Elite Programs
A, AA, AAA Squirt, PeeWee, Bantam & Older
Skating Dynamics Summer Elite program
is designed for A, AA, and AAA travel hockey players
(or others with coach's recommendations)
who are truly dedicated towards enhancing their overall skill level.
They understand how much work, refinement and improvement is required to
maximize their athletic potential. Our 15 hour Elite Program takes
place over five days with each day divided into three different one hour
segments. The first hour is dedicated towards proper skating technique.
The second hour focuses on refining hand skills, including stickhandling,
passing, shooting and scoring techniques. The third and final hour
consists of high tempo flow and application of these skills. Our 10
hour Elite Program takes place over five days with each day consisting of
two hours of on-ice instruction. The same skill sets are divided equally
within this time frame.
Proper technique, intensity and speed is emphasized throughout
all segments. Forward and backward strides, edge control, crossovers
front and back, starts, stops, transition movements and the individual components
of each skill are taught in a fast paced setting and on a progressive basis.
Stickhandling, passing, shooting and scoring techniques are also taught
on a progressive basis allowing students to understand and apply better
fakes, give and receive crisper passes, shoot with more power and accuracy
and learn how to create space for scoring chances. Students finish
each day with a high tempo flow and application session allowing them the
opportunity to apply the individual components of each skill in a group
setting. Acceleration, edge control, tight turns, pivots, passing
and finishing techniques at the net encompass the direction of these sessions
and demands speed, detail and awareness of all players.
If you want to improve your skill level and compete to
your athletic potential, Skating Dynamics will provide you with professional
training at an affordable price.

Evaluation of Skills
At the conclusion of each summer program, students will
receive a written evaluation for each of the skating, stickhandling, passing
and shooting skills taught as determined by the completed program.
Skating Dynamics does not promote competitiveness within the teaching sessions.
No student will be compared to any other student. Our written evaluations
are designed to provide each student and his/her parent/guardian with a
clear indication as to what skills need improvement. Remember, even
professionals require continued practice and coaching to improve and retain
their skills.
